Toya Miles -I was born in Chicago and raised in Harvey Il, a small town minutes away from the city. As a child, I loved reading and writing short stories, and grew up very fond of African American literature, and arts. At the age of 27, I studied nursing at Brown Mackie College for Licenses Practical Nurse. It was then that I found my love for urban novels. The first novel I've read was by the best seller Keisha Ervin, and hadn't stopped reading since. Through inspiration from my literary sisters and a good friend who is also an accomplished author, I wrote and published my first book A Hustla's Weakness.
